Razzie Nomination Predictions: Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Miley Cyrus In the Lead!

Twilight Saga New Moon Taylor Lautner Kristen Stewart news

I’m just going to be blunt when I say this: This year has sucked for movies.  Almost every movie released in 2009 was either a product of over-hyping, bad PR moves, or a sense of smugness.  And let’s not forget the fact that Nine has been torn apart by critics and it still has a slew of Golden Globe nominations including best picture.  (It really makes you wonder how much politics plays into award shows)

So thank God for the Razzies who will have no problem calling out most of these over-hyped, awful and downright boring movies by awarding them with the prestigious golden raspberry. The nominations won’t be announced until February 1st but there’s already a large commotion going on over at the Los Angeles Times for their predictions which include Kristen Stewart, Megan Fox, and Miley Cyrus in the lead for Worst Actress and Will Farrell, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson in the lead for Worst Actor.  The curveball will be if they nominate Nine for Worst Picture after it’s dismal box office numbers and awful reviews.  If it does get nominated, it could be the first time a film is nominated for best picture and worst picture ever.  See my predictions after the cut!

Taylor Momsen Indirectly Shows Miley Cyrus How To Act Mature During Nylon Interview

Because I’m so sick of people defending Miley’s awful interview style and basic inability to string together an articulate quote, I give you: Taylor Momsen being interviewed by Nylon TV.

Taylor is sixteen (hater comments about how she looks like she’s in her twenties can shove it because that is not valid in this argument) and sounds well-educated, smart, snarky and yes, articulate in this and most every interview she does.  Homegirl delivers the quotes gold, politely tells journalists to eff off if she isn’t in the mood for their incompetent questions, and doesn’t sound the least bit awkward.  I know people have said that she’s going to look back on these years and regret acting and dressing like she does, but I completely disagree with this as me and most of my friends were just like this at sixteen.  We don’t regret it.  We were still cooler than the Miley Cyrus’s of the world, even when we thought we were awesome for listening to Hole and MCR when no one else did (for the record I still do).  So please Miley, take note and don’t use your age as an excuse for why you sound so effing immature in interviews.  At least Taylor has something to say, and makes a point saying it.

Miley Cyrus’s New Song Leaks

Um, autotune much?

And what is up with the Jay-Z name drop that has absolutely nothing to do with the song?!?! Oh, Miley.

According to Walmart.com this song comes from Miley’s forthcoming EP “Voyage To India.”  I have no idea what that title is referring to but whatever.

What does everyone think of this masterpiece?

Miley Cyrus Says Something Dumb

I know it might be wrong to hate on a sixteen year old because the person is young and inexperienced with life (actually I can because I’m only three years older), but seriously, some of them could learn how to put together a more articulate quote.  Look to Taylor Momsen for an example on how to do this.

Or look to Miley Cyrus on how not to give a quote on your new clothing line.  Here, she insults Middle America and uses the word “like” a little more than necassary, all while trying to promote her new fashion line for Wal-Mart (a la Mary-Kate and Ashley) in a new interview to Elle magazine:

“The jeans are my favorite part of the entire line. Because, like, literally this is going to be good for, like, Middle America, and it will be great for kids that really want to be in fashion but that don’t have it available.”

Sigh.  Middle America doesn’t need your help.

Two more pictures from the magazine after the jump.
