Twilight Fans Continue To Embarrass Themselves

Every once in a while I will see irate comments from Twilight fans asking why bloggers continually make fun of them and call them freaks.

WELL, I give you exhibit A.  This crazy chick thought it would be cute and totally normal to write that her cat died and she wanted Peter Fascinelli to comfort her.  This woman has also been camping out ALL WEEK in order to see the stars of this movie and this will probably be the highlight of her life.

I just have no words.  I guess in about an hour Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be genuinely fearing for life when they come in contact with these people, but in the meantime enjoy more  pictures of Twihards camped out at the premiere where Fascinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Billy Burke, and Julia Jones visited them.

Lady Gaga Got Vampire Grillz for Her Mouf

https://i2.wp.com/images2.fanpop.com/image/photos/9000000/Bad-Romance-lady-gaga-9026082-500-379.jpg

Lady Gaga is going to have no problem being the girl with most cake for her birthday next Sunday.  “Why,” you may ask? That’s because Gaga got some fabulous Russian rose gold vampire grillz today as an early birthday present from the Haus.  AND I WANT THEM!!!!

And why am I posting this when you could just read it on her Twitter?  Because frankly, lately anything Gaga does is genius.

Robert Pattinson’s Movie Fails and No One Cares: Sexism or Overlook?

https://i0.wp.com/socialitelife.celebuzz.com/bfm_gallery/2009/07/robert_pattinson_on_remember_me_set_-_july_2_2009/gallery_main/gallery_main-robert-pattinson-remember-me-bike-07022009-04.jpg

Does anyone remember last summer when Robert Pattinson was chased down an NYC street by a pack of fangirls and ran into a car?  Well apparently those girls didn’t love him as much as they acted like because Rob’s movie “Remember Me” (which he as filming at the time) completely bombed last week at the box office.  Coming in at number five, the movie only pulled in 8.1 million (www.rottentomatoes.com for proof) and got a slew of bad reviews to go along with it.  And no one called him out on it.

Now while I like Rob, what I’m really angry and shouldn’t be surprised about is that this is yet another example of how a man in Hollywood can have a movie bomb but the second a woman does, every blog in America is five secons away from writing a post asking if their career is over.  Confused?  Come inside for more. Sundance Wrap-Up

Sundance 2010

First of all, I would like to congratulate Kristen Stewart for not having the worst film at Sundance. (More on her films later) That honor goes to Chace Crawford’s gem of a film, “Twelve”, about the sad lives of drug-addicted rich kids. Continue reading

Razzie Nomination Predictions: Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, and Miley Cyrus In the Lead!

Twilight Saga New Moon Taylor Lautner Kristen Stewart news

I’m just going to be blunt when I say this: This year has sucked for movies.  Almost every movie released in 2009 was either a product of over-hyping, bad PR moves, or a sense of smugness.  And let’s not forget the fact that Nine has been torn apart by critics and it still has a slew of Golden Globe nominations including best picture.  (It really makes you wonder how much politics plays into award shows)

So thank God for the Razzies who will have no problem calling out most of these over-hyped, awful and downright boring movies by awarding them with the prestigious golden raspberry. The nominations won’t be announced until February 1st but there’s already a large commotion going on over at the Los Angeles Times for their predictions which include Kristen Stewart, Megan Fox, and Miley Cyrus in the lead for Worst Actress and Will Farrell, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson in the lead for Worst Actor.  The curveball will be if they nominate Nine for Worst Picture after it’s dismal box office numbers and awful reviews.  If it does get nominated, it could be the first time a film is nominated for best picture and worst picture ever.  See my predictions after the cut!

2009: a Pop Culture Year in Review

Note: Watch this video for a mixtape mash-up of pure pop bliss from 2009.

When I think back on 2009, the first thing I will think of is that it was the most creatively inspiring year of my life.  It’s been a long time since artists seemed to be so excited about their craft and dedicated into putting out work that is interesting, thought-provoking, and daring.  We got Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” video, Beyonce evolving into Sasha Fierce, a new slew of young Hollywood actors rebelling against the formula Lindsay Lohan had strewn along, and a surplus of young indie bands releasing some of their most original work yet.

So, come inside for a look back with me and be sure to leave your comments for some of your favorite parts of 2009. Continue reading
