Lady Gaga Got Vampire Grillz for Her Mouf

Lady Gaga is going to have no problem being the girl with most cake for her birthday next Sunday.  “Why,” you may ask? That’s because Gaga got some fabulous Russian rose gold vampire grillz today as an early birthday present from the Haus.  AND I WANT THEM!!!!

And why am I posting this when you could just read it on her Twitter?  Because frankly, lately anything Gaga does is genius.

Artist To Die For: The Watson Twins

So in the event you’re wondering why I’ve done two Artist To Die for posts in the past day it’s really because I haven’t written one since September.  (School has been owning my life) And the two sets of artists I’m writing about are amazing so just consider it double the amount of good music to add to your library.

Today’s installment features two women you might have heard of before.  If anyone listened to Jenny Lewis’s lovely “Rabbit Fur Coat” album, odds are you heard one of the tracks the Watson Twins were featured on, easily making it the most gorgeous album to come out in the past five years.  Last year the girls released their first full length album “Fire Songs” which featured the memorable cover of “Just Like Heaven” and with the release of their second album “Talking To You, Talking To Me” a month ago, everyone is finally starting to take notice. Robert Pattinson’s Movie Fails and No One Cares: Sexism or Overlook?

Does anyone remember last summer when Robert Pattinson was chased down an NYC street by a pack of fangirls and ran into a car?  Well apparently those girls didn’t love him as much as they acted like because Rob’s movie “Remember Me” (which he as filming at the time) completely bombed last week at the box office.  Coming in at number five, the movie only pulled in 8.1 million ( for proof) and got a slew of bad reviews to go along with it.  And no one called him out on it.

Now while I like Rob, what I’m really angry and shouldn’t be surprised about is that this is yet another example of how a man in Hollywood can have a movie bomb but the second a woman does, every blog in America is five secons away from writing a post asking if their career is over.  Confused?  Come inside for more. Goldfrapp Releases Their Fabulous New Video For “Rocket”

Goldfrap, Seventh Tree

Ever since my friend Shannon introduced me to the awesomeness that is Goldfrapp I’ve been eating up every dance-infused song they’ve put out.  It’s the kind of music you can play while going out to a trendy restaurant or about to go clubbing (or the kind of music you will hear while in the club).

But anyway, with the release of their new album “Head First” on the 23rd, Goldfrapp has finally unloaded the video for their eighties-inspired single “Rocket.”  The song is instantly catchy and the video is pretty rad. Leave your thoughts in the comments!
