Karen O Releases New Single For “Where The Wild Things Are”

The always fabulous frontwoman of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen O, has released the first single for the “Where The Wild Things Are” soundtrack.

Karen recorded the song with an untrained children’s choir and the results are so endearing and quirky.  It’s probably going to be one of those songs that plays on the end credits and makes me burst into tears because it’s just so adorable and because the movie will have me emotional as it is.

“Where The Wild Things Are” opens in theaters October 16, and you can listen to “All is Love” after the jump…

DJ AM Passes Away

NEW YORK — A law enforcement official says the celebrity disc jockey known as DJ AM has been found dead in his New York City apartment, which had drug paraphernalia in it.

The official tells The Associated Press that 36-year-old Adam Goldstein was found in his Manhattan apartment Friday evening. The official says there was no evidence of foul play.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because family hadn’t been notified and said paramedics had to break down the door to get in.

Goldstein was a deejay for hire who performed at Hollywood’s most exclusive parties. He also was known for relationships with reality TV star Nicole Richie and actress-singer Mandy Moore.

The death comes a year after Goldstein survived a South Carolina plane crash that killed four other people.

WTFFF is up with 2009 and celebrity deaths?!?!?!  This is so incredibly sad, especially after he survived that plane crash and came out of hardcore drugs.  RIP.

Chelsea Handler Won’t Admit If Her Pikachu Is Back On The Market

As some of you may have already heard, Chelsea Handler allegedly kicked out her “lover”, who also happens to be the head of the E! Network and Comcast aka her boss, this past week, and one of her co-workers snitched to People that the whole situation is “such a drama.”  (haha.)

Well, when reached for a comment, Chelsea had this to say: “I only comment on other people’s lives, not my own.”

I effin love her, and the fact that she dumped her boss and now is making things awkward for everyone at work.  Get it, girl!

Robert Pattinson Has Been Spotted On the Eclipse Set

Robert Pattinson has transformed back into Edward Cullen, complete with a pale face and super red lips.  RadarOnline posted the first photos of the heartthrob making his way to the set to begin filming “Eclipse” yesterday.

Gosh, you know he is so ready for this series to be over. I’ve actually grown to like Rob more recently–he’s learned to stfu about his “technique” on acting in “Twilight” unlike Kristen Stewart and Sharkboy Taylor Lautner who keep harping on about “New Moon” like it’s going to be this masterpiece of angst-ridden acting.  It’s like, “Girl, this is not ‘Sophie’s Choice’.  Shut up.”  Rob hasn’t really spoken about the movie though, other than saying the break-up scene is intense.  And if I were him, I would be trying to distance myself from this hot mess as quickly as possible.

Parker Posey Has Lyme Disease

Parker Posey has had to drop out of her off-Broadway play This “due to a developing case of Lyme disease ” according to a statement issued by her publicist.

This is really sad news for me because I freakin love Parker Posey–she’s been in some of my favorite movies like “Best in Show”, “Party Girl”, and “Broken English” and she’s really funny, so I hope they caught it early.  Get well soon, Parker!!
